97 T-Bird Oil in Coolant27 Jun 2006 22:03 GMT11
I have 97 T-bird with oil in the coolant system. Would the most logical
source be a blown head gasket or just an in-take leak?
94 thunderbird question27 Jun 2006 20:54 GMT2
I have a 94 thunderbird, 180,000 miles on it. it surges back and forth at
all speeds although, I did put it in second gear and brought it up past
3500 rpm and it seemed to run fine. I also noticed that my oil pressure
keeps dropping to low then goes back to normal. I know that my ...
Ford Focus Technical Service Bulletins for oil burning smell27 Jun 2006 18:33 GMT1
I have a 2001 Ford Focus ZX3 that has the infamous "burning oil smell".
I've looked into it a little and tracked down these three technical
service bulletin summaries that address the problem.
Does anyone know where I can see the full text of the bulletins?  And
97 Ford Taurus27 Jun 2006 15:46 GMT2
I have a 97 Ford Taurus Wagon that will not start after driving for a while.
I have to let it cool down for at least an hour and a half before it will
even try to turn over.    We have changed the starter, battery cables, and
the battery.  Any ideas?
97 Ford Escort went Boom27 Jun 2006 00:34 GMT1
My escort went boom on me coming home on the highway last weekend.  Didn't
blow a tire and no weird shakes or shimmies coming from back end.  Just a big
sound.  Thinking it might be a strut or coil.  Any thoughts on the problem
would be appreciated!!  Thank you!!

I accidentally topped off the coolant overflow with the yellow stuff

rectify?

'00 Focus A/C & Cooling Problem25 Jun 2006 15:11 GMT6
I recently bought this car and knew about the problem but figured no
big deal about it until recently. The A/C works but only on settings 0,
1, and 2. Once turned to 3 and 4 the A/C shuts off. I believe it does
the same with the heater. The cooling problem would be that the temp

Back Again24 Jun 2006 14:06 GMT4
I posted a few months back about a loud noise and you guys said it was
my catallytic converter. Well, you were right, but Ford won't fix it
under warranty for just  making noise. They said the engine light has
to come on specifically for that kind of emissions problem, so I've
mk 2 Mondeo (UK) query24 Jun 2006 08:47 GMT2
I'm in the UK and have a mk 2 Mondeo. The hose has come out of the winscreen
washer fluid reservoir and I can't see where to put it back in, since the
container dissapears down through a hole. All I know is that the hose is
supposed to route down that hole as well.

they see as 'spam'.. but the situation is beginning to get out of hand.
This is a discussion group on, primarily, two subjects:
1. Problem resolution for Ford vehicles with common systems.. to include
RE: Air conditioner cuts off after warming up23 Jun 2006 16:34 GMT1
My 2 Cents,.......  The onboard computer has a trick up its sleve, if the coolent is getting too warm,
the compresser will cut off.
Where is the needle on the tempeture gauge going,  once any taurus warms up, the needle never goes beyond
about 1/4 of thw whole range.  I was ...
