We've been having problems starting our 98 Windstar lately. Seems like it cranks the first few times but won't start. I wait several seconds and sometimes it starts, sometimes takes a few more tries. Battery's pretty new. Could this be the starter?

The aftermarket replacement high pressure hose came with a small bag with a yellow plastic cap inside of it. Does anyone know what this cap is for? When I took the old line off the rack and pump I do not recall finding a cap of any kind.

I have a 05 Taurus and it has 500 miles till factory warranty runs out, it is at like 34,000 ish miles and I have had it into the dealer 3 times already, because I have to keep jump starting my car. The first time I took it in, they replaced the alt and the batt. It worked fine
