We've been having problems starting our 98 Windstar lately.  Seems like
it cranks the first few times but won't start.  I wait several seconds
and sometimes it starts, sometimes takes a few more tries.  Battery's

Here's a wierd one for you tranny experts. I have a '91 Explorer 4x4
with 300k miles. Not long ago it left me stranded. Wouldn't move in fwd
or rev. Had it towed home, cleaned the filter, flushed, and new fluid.

I previously was going to buy a 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis for $500,
