I have a 95 Escort Wagon with about 160k miles on it.  It's been extremely
reliable, but recently it has developed a hesitation problem.  It happens
periodically, particularly after a downshift (its manual).  My first guess
is its the plugs.  I replaced the plugs maybe 1.5-2 ...

1998 ford ranger brake problems16 Aug 2006 03:02 GMT2

i have a ford escort, it's from the year 1999. It's a 1.6 zetec and has been
okay up until now. When I brake and put my foot down on the clutch to change
gears, the revs drop right down and the car nearly stalls, as the battery
light flickers on and off, then recovers rev-wise.
