Stiff Steering after Repair15 Aug 2006 15:06 GMT1
I got the power steering rack replaced today on my 2002 Ford Taurus.
The first thing I noticed is that the steering feel is now stiff
compared to what it used to be OEM. It's got a remanufactured rack I
believe.
89 F150 Ford engine problem15 Aug 2006 04:54 GMT1
I have 89 F150 with 300 6 cylinder eng. Just recently the eng started

constantly. The exhaust is black which tells me it is getting to much gas.

Serpentine Belt Problem14 Aug 2006 12:48 GMT8
The A/C Compressor (with "Factory Air" and not "dealer air") died in my 93

and it seems silly to replace the Compressor Clutch if I ...

93 Ford Escort LX won't crank14 Aug 2006 01:33 GMT5
I was just given a  93 Ford Escort LX..  I was told if I got it
running I could have it.  Apparently when the person had the vehicle
it just died and it had to be towed home.  When you try and start it
it doesnt even crank.  I would think that is some electrical problem
351 HO Engine....is there a demand for this engine?13 Aug 2006 21:37 GMT7
I've got an engine out of an '84 truck that my father bought before his
death.  He was going to put it into one of his trucks.  I remember him
telling me that it came out of a truck that had 70,000 miles on it.
Anyway, I don't really have a use for it and was thinking about selling
No backup lights on 97' Taurus13 Aug 2006 03:44 GMT1
Problem with a 97' Taurus wagon. The backup lights don't come on
anymore. Both bulbs are good but there's no power reaching either backup
light socket in the lift gate. Fuses have been checked and are all good.
I suspect the problem is the manual lever position sensor (MLPS) on ...

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (AP) - The gas cap, long left sitting on trunk lids

the past on many Ford Motor Co. models in the coming years.
At an automotive industry conference near Lake Michigan, the company
