We just bought a new 2006 Ford Escape in June. It has a V6 and all-wheel

the keyless remote is weak and needs replacing.  But, I can't see how
to get the thing open.  How do I open the keyless remote to replace the
battery?

This morning I rolled down my driver's window and now it won't roll

off the door to inspect it further and it seems to still try to
function when I push the button down, but does nothing when I try to

I log date, mileage, and gallons when I gas up so as to
monitor gas-mileage. Did so yesterday and
noticed that the mileage was the same as the last gas-fill.

I think I damaged something electrical. Laugh, But I gotta fix it.
Had positive batterty terminal attached, neg off,  when I used small
battery charger, may have brushed by the MAF assembly.

Hi folks, My elderly mother had a mechanic tell her that the front pump seal
on her transmission is starting to leak and should be replaced. This is a
1995 Sable 3.0L. Is this something that the average guy could do, or are we
talking about taking the tranny out or other ...

My car has 3 zone controls - driver, passenger, rear.
When I turn on recirculate and/or the seat heating and cooling, it
randomly cuts off after 10-45 minutes. The A/C still runs but it starts
pulling in fresh air and simultaneously turns off the seats.

I am trying to recharge the A/C in my Windstar, but I do not know which
side is the low side.  Anyone out there that can help me?

I have a 1988 F-150 4x4 with the 4.9L inline-6 and manual tranny. I
recently replaced the timing gears and when all was reassembled, i
found i was getting no fuel. When i ground the the fuel pump slot on
the diagnostic connector, the truck will run but it will not idle and

I have a '95 Aerostar that the A/C hasn't worked for a while.  I
charged the system, compressor cycled, it cooled then went hot again.
When I turned off the vehicle, I've got a leak from a fitting (I think
it's a fitting) on the back of the compressor (top center back).

Can someone tell me if the auto tranny in the 4 cylinder Fursion is a
new or old one? Is it a Ford or Mazda unit and was it used on any other
car ?
