problem: my '06 'stang may sit 3-4 weeks between drives. no problem if I don't set the alarm.....but if I lock it, that sets the alarm (including the optional Active system with motion sensors, etc) and the battery completely discharges.

Just flushed out the radiator and removed the air box to replace the thermostat on a 92 Crown Vic, and when I went to test drive it at night, there are headlights, and turn signals (when I use them), but no rear or front clearance lights, nor any instrument panel lights.

I have a '69 Galaxie with a 390-2V that hesitates when you first press the accelerator pedal. After the stumble, it catches on a runs very strong and smooth, so something is just wrong in the initial tip-in of the accelerator.

I am replacing a timing belt on a 1987 ford ranger I found the marks for the cam gear and the mark on the dis drive gear but can not find a mark on the housing for the dis drive gear I would be thankful for any suggestions. the engine is a 2.3 FI 4 cyl.

Can anyone tell me what kind of oil is recommended for the 2001 Ranger V6? Is it 5-20W or 10-40W for "mid-range" climates and service? A related question: where 5-20W is recommended, does anybody use 10-40W instead? If so, is there any noticeable difference?

Thanks to all who responded to my last post about the car I'm getting. I have another question, this car is a 66 LTD 2 door, 289 v-8 automatic. The brake master cylinder is the single reservoir type, manual / no power booster, and 4 wheel drum brakes. I'm not too worried about
