and figure its a good time to do the wires.  Any suggestions on how to

my 99 taurus sucked in some water during the flooding we had in Houston
on Monday.  It wasn't deep, but apparently it sloshed the wrong way and

the p/s fluid level on this 99 taurus i'm working on is fine when the engine
is running, and the steering works great. but when you shut off the engine,
the fluid slowly comes up and spill out of the pump reservoir. i have never
seen such a thing!

I've got a 1997 Lincoln Town Car, Cartier Series.
I notice that when idling in the Drive Gear, the car sometimes
surges ahead, occasionally with force a bit stronger than
the force with which I've got the brakes holding it back.

I've noticed what appears to be a drain plug on the transmission. [1st
time i've ever seen one on any vehicle].
I'd lke to change the trany fluid and want to know if this plug drains
all the fluid or do you still have to drop the pan to get most of it?

   My '95 Town Car with 4.6 SOHC V-8 is missing on the # 1 cylinder.  The
computer says so,  and the spark plug indicates incomplete combustion as it

It starts and runs just fine.  Put it in gear, and it stalls.  Dead.  That's

I just replaced the speed sensor about 6 weeks ago, no other recent repairs.
