My Grand Marquis is acting up again. It is difficult to start and when
it does it idles very low and almost stalls. Afer a few minutes it's
okay but after it warms up and I'm on the highway, it pings.

gear shift problem or transmission problem?01 Oct 2006 16:25 GMT5
I have a 2000 Mazda Protege, automatic. I've been having a problem with
my gear shift; at least, I think that's what the problem is. Whenever

one end was larger diameter than the other end.
I looked at it kinda shocked.  He was right.  I mean, the larger end was

91 Town Car AOD01 Oct 2006 01:14 GMT5
Seems to be stuck in forward in all manual positions.  Adjustment is right.
Previous owner ran with TV cable disconnected.  I've had the valve body
apart twice now to make sure  nothing is stuck.  Any ideas before I
surrender and trade it for another at a junk yard?  I'm more ...
