I have a 304 Code... w/ intermittent misfire. I have replaced plug & wire. Pulled injector and blew it out and replaced and ran a drop test on 1-4, which checked O.K. Afterwards, drove for about 30 mi w/ no misfire and running smooth. Next morning cranked up w/ miss again.

Has anyone ever taken an Electronic Vacuum Regulator apart? I was getting a 172 (EEC-IV) fault code, which indicates "system weak". A vacuum pump revealed that the EVR solenoid (which controls vacuum to the EGR valve) would not hold vacuum whether it was energised or not.

Getting this fault code car has rough idle but drives great at high speed . code points to cam valve sensor to advance does this mean the sensor is bad or is there and actual timing problem. Help

I have this engine and was wondering what value it may have. It was running but had a vibration in it. After taking it apart I discovered that one of the piston skirts had broken off. I have not had the engine rebuilt so it is still apart.

I have a 97 Ford Taurus and suuddenly my steering has become very tight. The steering becomes tight then loosens up, them becomes tight again. The steering also occasionaly makes a noise. What do you think is the problem?

Hi, have a 99 sable with 3.0L. Thought I had a bad heater core, but it seems the problem is just the hoses connected to it. Both upper and lower hoses are rubber that is crimp connected onto metal tube. Can anyone give me the part numbers for these so I can try to locate them ...
