94 Grand Marquis - Problems with Engine missing03 Nov 2006 03:52 GMT8
This past week I just started noticing the car missing while it was
idling.  My first thought was plugs, but not sure.  The car has over
60,000 miles, it has been garage kept most of its life, very well
taken care of, very clean under the hood. I don’t know if the plugs

We have a '96 ford aerostar. It's time for it to be inspected. The "check

To Jim Warman (Not Mr. Warman)01 Nov 2006 05:20 GMT1
I wish to thank you for your advice on the noise from my '93 Tempo.
I finally got a chance to check the harmonic, I could turn the pulley

89 Ford 351 Very High Idle01 Nov 2006 03:13 GMT1
Vehicle overheated.  It was a blown heater control valve.
Right before pulling off, the engine shuddered, and the idle jumped to a
very high idle.
Replaced the HCV, no cooling issues.
1997 Aerostar starter- thunk when starting01 Nov 2006 03:06 GMT4
Just after I start my 1997 Ford Aerostar, I hear a thunk then the key
is released.  It is definitely coming from the engine and not the
ignition switch.  I once had a truck where the soleniod (sp) got sticky
and wouldn't cone back into place properly.
