Recently, while towing a fifth wheel through the mountains our  2004
F350 Diesel let out shrieking noise from under the engine compartment.
This happened twice during a long hill climb with the engine under
considerable load.

Just blew the engine on my '97 Expedition. Now the shop tells me it
will costs $4500 to replace the engine, which I find a little high.
Does anyone have an idea of a reasonable costs?
