Support of gays is a looser's choice06 Nov 2006 01:09 GMT10
Besides being crap rated on Consumer Report, Ford sponsors gays which shows
that the Michigan based company is a sicko.  I hope they go down the toilet
with all the rest of the SUV's.
79 club wagon05 Nov 2006 18:56 GMT4
i have this big old van and i am afraid the transmission went out. I have
had it for 4 plus years. It seemed to rev up and not really go like it
should, so i parked it. Just on time, because it wouldn't move after i
backed it in the driveway.

Backyard Mechanic - my injector problem :)05 Nov 2006 06:21 GMT3
It took me a week to get around to it, but I finally pulled out the
injectors. I found my problem, I think - the plastic around the outlet
side of the suspect injector was cracked. I blew the piece out of the
block and I THINK the problem is gone, though obviously I want a new
98 Windstar helluva rattle05 Nov 2006 05:45 GMT3
My 98 Windstar / 94K miles has one helluva rattle that seems to be coming
from the right front that's noticible mostly in bumpy parking lots.  I don't
believe it's a bad strut, as I have full control of the vehicle, no slop in
the steering.
Differential Ratio f-25005 Nov 2006 01:55 GMT11
2003 f-250 Super Duty. This has a lousy 3.58 or something like that rear
end.  I would like to see about changing it to a 4.11 or so ratio in.
Wondering what I would have to do.  Buy an entire rear end assembly?  Some
portions within?  Where to purchase?  Also. It's 4wd. Do I need ...

if you hit the brakes the car would die.  Same goes for the power
10W40 in 5W30 application - What problems?03 Nov 2006 15:35 GMT5
I just found some old receipts and realized that the quick lube place
put _10W40_ in my 98 Escort. All my tapping problems started after this
date. (Fortunately no cold weather). This engine was originally speced
for 5W30, though Ford later recanted and told people to use 5W20.

Not meant to be complete, most terms encountered by non-pro's should be
