I notice that often my door ajar light stays on when the door is closed and
the dome light stays on. I know it's coming from the driver door. I can't
find the traditional pin switch. Does anyone know where they hide the door
switch on this car. It's a 4 door if that matters.

What sounds better: a $4 expense that is easy to fix or a very painful $1500

I have a 1992 Lincoln Mark VII.Thetransmission works fine until you use
overdrive.Once in overdrive it slips as soon as you get to 45mph.In normal
drive it works fine.I found out it could be a TV Bushing.Where is this
located and is it something that can be done at home?

I recently read the manual for my 2000 Sable and found a multi step
procedure that has to be followed after changing the battery. I've
asked a few people and none of them have ever seen anything like this.
Have dealers/garages always followed this process or is this something
