my heater blower worked intermittently for about 2 weeks and now died. What are some common causes, I friend told me to try the resistor block and fusible links. I found the resistor block, but no luck finding the link. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just bought this car for a winter beater but the engine never seems to heat up and when it does after like an hour the check engine light comes on and it will stall if i slow down to much. also won’t pick up speed after this happens... what could be the problem? and how much

Going to be looking at my sisters car later today. She says that with the vehicle started and brake depressed all the way the shifter will not come out of park. I also listened (via phone) and never heard a shift release solenoid actuate.

I just replaced the power valve on my 70 Cougar. I hooked up the hoses the way they came off ( I am pretty sure!) But now the steering seems real tight. Did I cross a hose from the power cylinder to the power valve? The two from the power cylinder to the power valve are the only
