I have this pickup that has a "new" engine it that ran fine in another f150
. Well, here is the history . The pickup had a blown engine in it (Fuel
injected 302) and sat for around 2 years . I found a good running 302 that

Faded Headlamps05 Jun 2007 11:59 GMT13
The headlights on my 96 Grand Marquis are seriously faded, enough that the
car is getting unsafe to drive at night now. So I call up my friendly ford
dealer and ask about the pricing on a new set of headlamps. He quotes me
nearly $1100 (canadian) for the pair. After the laughter ...
Look but don't touch!05 Jun 2007 01:40 GMT8
Was at a dealer this morning to get my wife's wagon rekeyed (we lost
one, doh!).  Anyway, to get to the point, the showroom had a 2007
Shelby GT 500, silver with black stripes and accents.  Asked one of
the salesmen to open the hood, said "NO, WE'RE NOT ALLOWED TO LET
95 Bronco shell has faded04 Jun 2007 22:03 GMT7
I have a black Bronco, and the black fiberglass shell has faded, of
course.  The thing is, a regular polish won't work because the surface
isn't smooth.  It's rough.  I tried Meguiar's dash and trim foam on a
small place, and it's not going to work.  I'll be damned if I'm going

A word about mass transit.04 Jun 2007 09:00 GMT8
Since actual Ford Talk has lulled here for the time being, I'd like to comment on some
issues that have been brought up in other threads concerning mass transit. Folks have
brought up the subject of "trolleys" and "streetcars". These were often conveyances to
take people from ...

backing plates for read disk brakes-1996 Mystique/contour/Mondeo03 Jun 2007 00:37 GMT1
Anyone out there have a source for a pair of good rear disk brake
backing plates or sheilds for a 1996 (fits to 2000, I believe)
Contour/mystique/Mondeo with 4 wheel disks?  Obsolete from Ford
Canada.
general brake question01 Jun 2007 14:39 GMT7
I usually do the work on my brakes if it isn't real difficult and in the
past have used rebuilt parts; master cylinder, wheel cylinders.
I have a 'lifetime warranty' master cylinder.  Since my truck is 25 years
old, I have replaced the master cylinder several times.  Each time, ...
Manual needed01 Jun 2007 05:24 GMT7
I have a 1988 Ford E-150 conversion van. I am looking for an owners manual
with a map of the fuse box layout. If you no longer need the manual I am
willing to buy it from you, for a reasonable price.
If you are still using manual, perhaps you could scan pages that I need and
