My speedometer works off & on, but the mph is incorrect.
It will jump up to 60 mph when I'm only going around 35 mph.
Also when I use the brakes it will suddenly drop to 0 mph when I'm
going around 35 mph still.

Any of you guys flush out your brake lines on a regular basis as part
of standard annual maintenance ?  I've heard it listed as a to do for
some foreign models but never Ford products .

My wife owns a 2004 Explorer that just today showed a the electronic
throttle control light.  She also told me that it was hesitating (like
it was about to stall) at stop lights and that she may have smelled
something burning.

I have a Lincoln Town Car (2001) which has the autolamp facility - but
the lights turn on at quite a high ambient a light level.
The dashboard sensor is clean and not covered by anything.  Does
anyone know how I can set / repair the system so that it will switch

First of all, I've already replaced the idle air control valve.
That's not the problem.
The last 3 mornings (first start of the day), the motor starts
normally, then the "check engine" light flickers, and then the idle

I don't get it. My 89 Lincoln Continental seems to be burning oil, or
losing  oil, or something to that affect, because my digital gauge
keeps showing that it's low. Yet, when I check the dip stick, it says

key. How easy is it to get another as a spare incase I lose this one
and where from? I imagine that I could go to the main dealer but my
