I recently purchased a leftover Ford Five Hundred. The stereo (6 CD changer type) has an AUX button from, what I was able to figure out from the manual, is for the satellite radio I don't have. Is there a jack anywhere that I could hook an MP3 player or cell phone to?

I have a problem with idling. Symptoms: When idling with the transmission in "D", the engine speed will go up and down (only ever reaching about 800 rpm) and may eventually die. Oddly, if the A/C is on, it idles well -- it stay at about 800 rpm.

Here is one that will not be in the owners manual. This Ford F150 has dual gas tanks. I have had other vehicles that have dual tanks and there is normally an electric fuel switch-valve. They were always under the vehicle, had a hose from each gas tank

MY 99 ford Taurus while in park,,, when I hold the gas pedal to the floor, will only rev to 4000 rpm's and then drop to a normal idle then it go back to 4000 rpm's. This will keep doing this as long as I hold the gas pedal down.
