07 Ford Five Hundred Aux03 Nov 2007 12:41 GMT2
I recently purchased a leftover Ford Five Hundred.  The stereo (6
CD changer type) has an AUX button from, what I was able to figure out
from the manual, is for the satellite radio I don't have.  Is there a
jack anywhere that I could hook an MP3 player or cell phone to?
2001 Ford F-150 won't start03 Nov 2007 03:34 GMT1
For the first time since I bought the truck new, it won't start. It is
a 6 cylinder 2001 F-150 with manual transmission.
When I turn the key over, an assistant listening near the fuel filler
cap can't hear the fuel pump turn on. I've checked the fuel relay at
F-150: A question about dropping the transmission03 Nov 2007 03:10 GMT1
I am dropping the manual transmission in a 2001 F-150. How do you
remove the bolt that attaches the shift lever to the transmission?

2002 F-150 Power window problem02 Nov 2007 18:39 GMT1
I have a 2002 F-150 with power windows and the drivers side window will not
go up or down. Each time I push the button to roll down the window I hear a
click noise around the fuse box in the passenger compartment. I looked at my

Bad IAC?02 Nov 2007 14:37 GMT10
I have a problem with idling. Symptoms:
When idling with the transmission in "D", the engine speed will go up and
down (only ever reaching about 800 rpm) and may eventually die.
Oddly, if the A/C is on, it idles well -- it stay at about 800 rpm.
No Station Indicators on Radio02 Nov 2007 05:56 GMT12
1990 F150.  The radio workd fine, but the indicator shows no stations.
I assume there should be a clock too.
I'm slowly learning this truck, but here's another puzzler.
Anyone got any suggestions, or is this a dead readout, possibly a
Where is the tank switcher?02 Nov 2007 01:14 GMT20
Here is one that will not be in the owners manual.
This Ford F150 has dual gas tanks.  I have had other vehicles that
have dual tanks and there is normally an electric fuel switch-valve.
They were always under the vehicle, had a hose from each gas tank
Fuel economy myths01 Nov 2007 17:16 GMT127
"one of the hoariest of urban myths: That forcing higher fuel economy
standards on American car buyers is what's needed to encourage more
energy-efficient vehicles and make Detroit more competitive with its
import competitors.
99 taurus revving problems01 Nov 2007 14:28 GMT9
MY 99 ford Taurus while in park,,, when I hold the gas pedal to the floor,
will only rev to 4000 rpm's and then drop to a normal idle then it go back
to 4000 rpm's. This will keep doing this as long as I hold the gas pedal
down.
90 Crown Vic shifting01 Nov 2007 09:46 GMT2
While driving, the tranny will shift from first and then hold while the
engine revs before sometimes shifting to the next gear. What are some of the
things to check besides the oil level and filter?
Where to connect the tach01 Nov 2007 03:34 GMT1
Thought I asked this yesterday, but I don't see that message, so here
we go again. Sorry if it becomes a duplicate.
Just want to know where to connect up a tachometer on my 93 Taurus
3.0L automatic.
