| Horn Ring needed for safety's sake | 24 Dec 2007 13:50 GMT | 20 |
I needed my horn and it wasn't there. The airbag in wheel installation allows only one lower-right quadrant dedicated for the horn and a very hard press in the active area is needed to actuate the horn. Press anywhere else and you get nothing.

| 96 Taurus, trunk won't stay open | 23 Dec 2007 14:47 GMT | 7 |
My daughter has a 1996 Ford Taurus and the trunk on her car won't stay open. It's not too bad on level ground, but if back end of the car is tilted at all it constantly drops and hits us in the head. Kind of hard to unload groceries when you're fighting the trunk lid.

| Speed Limiter | 23 Dec 2007 01:47 GMT | 3 |
I have a 92 Taurus GL. I know for a fact that it will go above 85. Back in 92, they didn't have the capability to put a speed limiter in the PCM/ECM/CPU. To my knowledge the cpu is just a big relay and sensor center. The only way they could limit the speed back in that

| new ethanol studies | 22 Dec 2007 05:12 GMT | 23 |
I found this quite interesting if it is good research. Gasoline Research findings released last week strongly suggests that there is an "optimal blend level" of ethanol and gasoline -- most likely E20 or E30

| Remote only opens driver's door | 22 Dec 2007 00:32 GMT | 8 |
I see on my 08 fusion that the remote only opens the driver's door lock. Every other car I've had the remote opens all the doors. Not very convenient. Is there a way to have it open all the doors like the button inside does?

| 2008 Escape: Remote UNLOCK double flash | 20 Dec 2007 18:52 GMT | 3 |
My old 2003 ford Escape would flash it's marker lights twice to indicate that the remote key fob had activated the "Unlock". The lights would flash once for "Lock". The 2008 Escape does nothing for unlock (unless it's dark outside then all

| Hidden Codes? | 20 Dec 2007 01:09 GMT | 22 |
More of a generic question, but it would help me decide if I want to let Ford have at my Taurus, or just drive it to the damn scrap yard and get this over with. I have an OBD1 scanner (93 taurus) and in the past, it has given me a
