Hi;
I have an internal engine squeak [not the usual pulley bushing]. I have traced it down to the distributor.
This is electronic ignition which I am unfamiliar with. I remember the old distributors with the cam and cog on the end of the shaft,,, they were easy to pull out. I am ...

I replaced the rack in my '99 Ford Taurus and like a bonehead forgot
the part in the manual about not allowing the steering wheel to rotate
while the rack was not attached to the steering knuckles on the
steering shaft (I had rotated the wheel to get the through-bolt to

2005 Ford Escape Fuel Fill Tube Problem11 Jan 2008 03:30 GMT7
I have a 2005 Escape Ltd and it is a giant pain to fill the gas tank
with fuel. I'm not talking about the price, there is a  problem with
the pump shutting when I pump. This happens even when I pump it slow.
I can put in say .3 gal and then the stupid filler nozzle clicks off.

the exhaust, and it blew a hose somewhere i guess. something like 75%
power loss, and horrible gas mileage, the car is basically dead but i
have to drive to school and back.
1996 Contour cranks but won't start09 Jan 2008 16:38 GMT4
We've got a '96 Contour 4-cyl 2.0L that won't start.
When we turn the key we hear the fuel pump do its thing for a couple
seconds, and it cranks like normal (sounds/feels/smells normal), but
will not ever turn over.

1990 F150 4WD *FAILS* compared to 79 F15008 Jan 2008 17:23 GMT6
I have had a 1979 Ford F150 pickup truck for about 7 years.  It was a
piece of junk when I bought it, but I did some work to it and got it
in halfway decent shape, except for the badly rusty bed/box, which is
beyond repair.
