NHTSA investigates Ford Windstar fires21 May 2008 23:51 GMT1
Perhaps it's a good thing that Ford decided to exit the minivan segment. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched an investigation involving Ford Windstar minivans produced between 1995 and 2003 due to a possible fire risk. The investigation is linked to ...
Working with pulley bearing21 May 2008 23:45 GMT9
I had the hi-pitched squeal when starting '94 TBird LX V8. Appears to be
the idler-arm pulley bearing. A long time ago, Lugnut was good enough
to render tips on bearing replacement. I'm way behind the time curve,
but ...

Just a heads up to some of you Mustang fans, I'm not the seller, I
just happen to come across this and frequent the group a bit. Maybe

I have a 94 Crown Vic with 4 wheel anti-lock disc brakes. While
sitting at a stop light with my foot on the brake I notice that the
brake pedal very slowly goes to the floor. Is this a defective master
cylinder?

If you got to make the ultimate road trip (and money, geographic
location of the trip and the make / model of the desired car you'd
most want to use wasn't a limitation), what things or person/s would
you most want to take with you and please say why.
1990 F150 pu Vapor locking17 May 2008 12:20 GMT13
Last fall I bought a used 1990 F150.  It ran fine all winter.  Now
we're getting warmer weather, and after I drive the truck for a half
hour or so, it refuses to turn over, or turns over so slow it's
rediculous.  Once the engine cools, it starts right up.
Can't get off the power steering cap17 May 2008 03:06 GMT7
I have a 1990 F150 pickup.  I know the power steering fluid is low
from the noise.  The cap is a plastic thing with 2 fins to turn.  I
have tried and tried and it will not come off.  If I push on those
fins any harder they will break off.  WTF is with this thing?  Who

aerostar-ac/heat15 May 2008 05:45 GMT4
I have a 1994 Ford aerostar. I bought it used in the winter. The AC works,
but no matter where I put the selector switch, the air comes from the
defroster vents by the windsheild and the heater vents by the floor. It has
to be in the switch or there is a door in the ducting that ...

I want to change radiator and heater hoses on my 99 Taurus 3.0/Vulcan.
Normally this type thing is pretty simple, but on this car it looks
like a
real mess.  The radiator appears to be hidden underneath part of the
