| Ford Windstar Mini-van - Reliability??? | 22 Jul 2008 16:52 GMT | 2 |
Any opinions on the reliability of a 1999 Windstar? There's one for sale near me that is in pristine condition in terms of the body and the owner claims to have replaced the transmission. There's about 112,000 miles on it and the price is right.

| Ford Freestyle Seat Question | 22 Jul 2008 05:43 GMT | 1 |
I'm looking at buying an '06 Freestyle, but have heard that the cloth seats stain easily even with water. Anybody have any experience with this? Can the seats just be "Scotchguarded"? Personally I'm not too crazy about leather seats, I'd rather have

I recently bought a 2008 Taurus X. We bought it by looking at a brochure. I bought the Limited package which I understood is equipped with the SYNC feature as standard equipment. Now I'm told by Ford that SYNC will not be available until Oct. 2008

| 2002 windstar tranny squeak | 17 Jul 2008 22:37 GMT | 5 |
I have noticed a very, very slight squeek as the transmission shifts from 1st to 2nd. No squeak during any other shifts. Fluid changed regulary, roughly every 40k. Not due for another 8k. As a side note, I just got 2 new tires for the front, however, I don't

One of my 'lockable' wheel covers was stolen last week. Can't seem to find one in a junkyard. This is the 20 spoke wheel cover with the Ford Oval in the center cap. It uses the supposedly theft proof bolt to secure it. Anybody have one for sale or know where I can getr one

Right corner of rear bumper, red '94 TBird. No breaks in the bumper cover, some minor scars, maybe 1 sq. foot of finish stripped off, leaving black-looking surface exposed. I parked in the 3rd slot to side of my super-mkt, where no cars

I have a '97 Merc Villager with a RF power window problem. I have to 'help' the glass raise while a helper holds the button. It's as if the drive 'belt' is stripped - jumps, stops, etc. Can the belt be replaced seperately or must I get an entire regulator?

| Ford's Déjà Vu Moment, Part 1 | 15 Jul 2008 12:07 GMT | 1 |
Oil prices have just hit record highs. Talk of recession is in the air. Ford's line-up of bloated, heavy vehicles is piling-up like cord-wood on the dealer's lots. The only car selling: its "Americanized" global compact. Ford stock is in the toilet and bankruptcy rumors are ...

A friend recently ran into the infamous brake-fluid-in-the-ABS-switch problem with his 2000 Windstar, causing fuses 9, 10 and 16 to blow regularly. He's since had the switch replaced and the fuses aren't blowing anymore, but now he has an even more bizarre problem: his dash
