I own a Ford Escort 1997, a little over 2 months ago the car wouldn't go into gear, so I went to auto zone and asked if they had a clue what could be doing that. The guy said it sounds like the brake light switch, sold me a new part

bought this car 6 months ago at a Auction.It had 125,000 km on it.It ran great except for some clunking in the engine compartment coming to a stopOne day it klunked louder than usual and then there was no power to the Transmission.

I just got this 97 taurus as a fixer upper and put a 3.0 in it. (head gaskets blown on its motor). Got the motor in and running. Its running a little hot for my tastes. Fans are running. I am going to pull the water pump and check for impeller rotting.

A friend's 1988 Ford F-150 4WD with 351 EFI engine would have normal oil pressure upon starting cold, but the pressure would go down to zero when the engine warmed up. He replaced the oil pump and the problem remained.

I just flushed out my 97 Taurus block and radiator and am preparing to put a new water pump on it. Before on earlier cars, i put RTV on both sides of the gasket, or just used the copper glue or such on one side to hold the gasket in place then bolt it down,

I'd like recommendations for a good but inexpensive online parts supplier for my 93 Taurus. I've used Parts Train in the past. They are reliable and reasonably priced, even though they do add a rather hefty handling fee on top of the shipping.
