Brake light switch problem in Ford Escort31 Aug 2008 20:27 GMT11
I own a Ford Escort 1997, a little over 2 months ago the car wouldn't
go into gear, so I went to auto zone and asked if they had a clue what
could be doing that.
The guy said it sounds like the brake light switch, sold me a new part

What this system does is to use HHO gas to increase the efficiency of

50%.

Hi;
I have a 96 Ranger that came with P235/70R14 tires . I came across a
set of rims and P215/65R15 tires that I put on the truck. Any idea
what I will have to do to get my speedometer accurate?

I have a 1993 escort wagon w/85,000. I put a timing belt on. Ran
rough. I cleaned IAC and now runs great. Slave cyl went (after
driving
about 10 miles) and I replaced. Works great but barely and I mean
Auto GPS or Handheld GPS?28 Aug 2008 15:59 GMT1
Although the two kinds serve the same purpose, they are very different
in most ways. http://travelsguide.googlepages.com/auto_or_handheld_gps
Flushing Taurus 3.028 Aug 2008 04:56 GMT7
I just got this 97 taurus as a fixer upper and put a 3.0 in it.
(head gaskets blown on its motor). Got the motor in and running.
Its running a little hot for my tastes. Fans are running.
I am going to pull the water pump and check for impeller rotting.
'88 F-150 oiling problem28 Aug 2008 04:48 GMT4
A friend's 1988 Ford F-150 4WD with 351 EFI engine would have normal
oil pressure upon starting cold, but the pressure would go down to zero
when the engine warmed up.  He replaced the oil pump and the problem
remained.

taurus water pump mount26 Aug 2008 04:40 GMT1
I just flushed out my 97 Taurus block and radiator and am preparing to
put a new water pump on it.  Before on earlier cars, i put RTV on both
sides of the gasket, or just used the copper glue or such on one side to
hold the gasket in place then bolt it down,
Vaccum leak Q25 Aug 2008 06:38 GMT8
Hey guys. 1993 Mustang 5.0. I have a vaccum leak from somewhere I can't find. When I turn off the car, you can hear it whine/whoosh/exhale for a second or two as the air lets out (almost like a "whoooo-ooo-oo-o-o-o----o---o----osh".  BUT, if I leave the oil cap off the car, and ...
Looking for a better online part supplier25 Aug 2008 03:08 GMT3
I'd like recommendations for a good but inexpensive online parts supplier
for my 93 Taurus. I've used Parts Train in the past. They are reliable and
reasonably priced, even though they do add a rather hefty handling fee on
top of the shipping.
2004 Mercury Sable hesitation?24 Aug 2008 16:31 GMT1
I'm hoping someone can provide some insight here. I have a 2004 Sable
which had a catalytic converter collapse internally in it at 115000
miles (thus no warranty). Needless to say the car did not run and it
was a fortune to fix it. My mechanic said there are two more
