c4 identification troubles24 Aug 2008 04:44 GMT9
I have a 66 mustang with a 289 and a c4.  I'm getting ready to rebuild
the c4 but I'm getting alittle confused with the identifing marks.  The
casting number on the tail piece of the tranny is c7op-7a040, if i've
done my research right this should be a 67 c4 off a fairlane/torino.

Plugged in the 4 wire flat wiring harness, that intercepts the factory

I have a 1972 LTD Station Wagon and the tailgate window has a problem. The
motor is OK and I fixed the gear assembly. But can't seem to get the motor
to turn. I put a voltmeter on cable assembly going to the motor and I see
12.3 volts when I turn the key switch to lower the ...

G'morning Ford Ranger Mechanics,
I have a 97 Ford Ranger (4 cyl) that seems to have a bad "blower fan
resistor" module. The A/C works, I can feel cold air coming out, but
the blower fan started to intermittently fail (blow on high, then

pipe with offset 1/4" elbow.  There seems to be a cap missing. Can't figure
out what is supposed to be there.  Probable cause?  Thanks, Vin
