I apologize for a question on a Mercury..but seeing how it's basically a Taurus ... My mother in law gave her 1996 Sable to my son. Two problems ... no brake lights and the shifter will not move out of Park after the engine

Hey guys... what could cause a constant, and annoying electronic buzz in my 1993 5.0. The previous owner installed an aftermarket stereo, tach, etc, but I really don't think that is it. The noise is constant when the car is on. Doesn't go away no matter what you do inside the car ...

Can you remove a 3.0L Vulcan engine on a 96 Taurus out the top without dropping the subframe? To do so, you would have to disconnect the trannie and move the engine over to the passenger side enough to separate the two?

My wife has a Ford F150 4 wheel drive with 302 auto. The truck Oil pressure gauge indicates the pressure drops to a very low reading. It drops like a rock and just as quickly come back up. The temp is fine and it seems to be running properly. I assume this can not really be ...

couldn't find a Usenet group about auto AC. It's an Aerostar so I'll ask here. The lines are rusted through. No one has replacement that I can find. Having some custom made is ridiculously expensive.

I was surprised to read that the 2 bottom trim levels of the new Passat do not come with automatic headlights. You have to spring for the third trim level (called Lux) to get the automatics. Kinda surprised me. All trims are turbo, though,

Need repair advice. 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII. The harness plug that plugs in the multifunction switch got hot and is now deformed it got so hot. I guess I have to find out what caused the problem first. Fixing the problem looks insane. So many many wires go in the harness
