How test vacuum on 99 Taurus 3.0?16 Nov 2008 01:10 GMT3
Still have problems with lean mixture indicators on my Taurus with 3.0
vulcan engine.  I want to check manifild vacuum.  I have a gauge but
don't know where to tap into the vacuum.  Advice?

my 99 marquis Ls when cold wont start. turn key on 45 seconds will
start but runs horrible till warms up then runs like brand new, ford
said cam sensor, replaced still same .now they say engine computor
closest used 1 is 400 miles away and 100 dollars thats too expensive

Can anybody out there help me determine the location of the voltage
regulator in a 1967 Ford Thunderbird.  It's big like a couple packs of
cigarettes, but I cannot find it to replace my burned out one.

I have a 1998 Ford Escort 2.0L SOHC with split port injection. The car
was running fine until I filled up. About an hour later it stalled.It
will fire right up but when I put it in gear it stalls again(but again
will fire right up). I do not have any "idiot lights" on and I can

It runs fine shifts good until I hit about 35-40 mph and it
automatically shifts down without having to push on the accelerator
but under 35 it shifts fine does anyone have an idea what it could be

I just purchased a beater to get me through the winter.  I got it at
auction for 400$.  The engine is a good runner, car looks ok with no
major damage, interior is still nice, and should be perfect for
winter.

96 engine (2V) into a 97. come to find out the
96 engine harness was left on the engine and not
changed. 97 engine is long gone now. The DLC

I will be driving and I will suddenly lose power for about a second
then it will pop back on. Any idea what this may be? It has only been
happening once a trip to work/church ect.

Anyone know of a site that compares rims from various cars?  I have a site
for tire size comparisons but not rims.  I am looking for a used set of
winter tires on rims to fit my 97 cavalier.  So far I've found good deals on
wheels from a dodge spirit and a 98 ford contour.

Ford Focus ZX4-2005
Headlight suddenly went to the down position, pointing low.  The
adjustment screw seems to have broken loose?  It appears to work but no
headlight movement occurs.  My 'guess' is that the screw weld has broken
