I have a '95 Ford Ranger with the 2.3 L 4 cyl. The other day I noticed that the gas gauge read empty. First I thought someone had siphoned my gas but when I put more in it only took a few gallons and the gauge still reads empty.

It's a 2002 ford taurus. I checked Ford's website and found info with the VIN Code. I found the ENGINE TYPE "U" is as VULCAN engine 3.0 liter V-6 OHV w/155 HP. But I can't locate the Transmission type or name of it for this car.

I have a 1995 Thunderbird When I turn the key in the ignition to start the car, it will not return to the run possition, it just stays in the further "start" position. I have to manually rotate it to the run position.
