Have a 96 Chevy P/U, 4.3liter V6 automatic transmission.  Currently has
212,000 miles on it.  Had the transmission fluid/filter changed at about
100,000 and 150,000.  Now due again.
Anyone know the approximate life of the transmission?

I have a '93 GMC van with the type W V6. On the top left side of the
engine (looking from under the hood back), is a peice of linkage that
goes from the throttle lever to a rubber bellows on the top left side
of the engine. I suspect its some sort of damper, but am not sure. The

Ok boys and girls I just left my 1991  park avenue up at a convenience store
because I pulled up, went inside, and came back out. I tried to start the

I'm trying to figure out this truck it's a 4.3 S10 with 115000 miles.
The truck starts fine but if you drive it 10 miles or so it will
die and not restart until it has totally cooled down. It doesn't
set the check engine light and there are no codes stored.
