I saw one, 2005 Monte Carlo LT on the lot Sunday. LT must be new to the model line for 2005. Not sure what the differences are from the LS. The LT is probably less $$$ as the body colored side moldings were not present on the LT I saw.

Our 86 Oldsmobile Delta 88 has a problem with its distrubutorless coil. We bought it new back in 1986. There are 6 cylinders. There are 3 coils.

When turning or going over mild bumps esp at lower speeds there is a noticible clunk and vibration felt thru the steering column. My local mechanic says nothing wrong just the way the coupling is made in the steering coupling.

Hi all, I need to remove the shifter knob on my wife's 99 Regal LS (center console shifter). The knob appears to have a clip or something on the backside but I can figure out how to remove it. Does the shifter button need to be removed to access this clip?

The factory service manual for my '89 S10 Blazer 2WD w/ 700R4 says to lubricate the slip yoke when re-installing the driveshaft. It doesn't specify what to lube it with; not sure if I should use motor oil, ATF, general purpose grease, etc. When I took the driveshaft out a little
