When starting out in morning and only when temp is cold (below 30 F, say) and just before the engine has fully warmed up (after 3 miles or more driving) the engine suddenly runs rough and quits AND the gas petal freezes in place. A hard foot jab to the gas petal releases it and I ...

My wife decided to show off and do a donut at her school in her 2001 impala. She then called me to complain that she doesn't have power steering. I found the fluid was empty even though I check it every couple weekends so I thought maybe a line was leaking. Topped it off and we ...

My 1990 Buick Century (V-6, 3.3) has been cranking sluggishly lately. Most recently it got worse: It turns over a couple of times and stops. It's random -- sometimes it starts, sometimes it doesn't. But even when it starts, the cranking is slower than it used to be. Suspected the ...

Just purchased a nice '90 LeSabre - the driver's back seat is at too much of an angle for me to be comfortable - when I tried to adjust the seat, there was no control that I could find. My manual says there should be a manual lever or an eletric control but I can't find either?! ...

| Temperature problem on Olds Alero | 23 Dec 2004 01:26 GMT | 2 |
The temperature gauge on my 2001 Olds Alero stopped working yesterday. Actually, it only moves a tiny bit and stays right over the "COLD" level, no matter how long the car is running. However, the heat works fine, and it didn't overheat, even though I was driving it for an hour
