Dealing With The Dealer16 Dec 2004 00:55 GMT34
I've about had it with the dealer who sold me a 2004 Trailblazer.  I
bought it new and found out 30 days later it had been in some sort of
collision before I bought it.  The repair was done badly (they even
clear coated over the dealer-installed pin striping).  Obviously the
3.8L engine starts to ping recently under load15 Dec 2004 22:12 GMT2
I have a 3.8L 1993 SSEi that starts to ping when the engine is hot and under
load.  It does not ping very loud, I only notice when I step on the gas
pedal hard or driving between walls (such as tunnel).  I use correct gas
that is 91 octane.  Car drive and feel normal.  All fluids ...

soon as you let off the accelerator pedal. Check engine light is not on.
I don't know if this is related or not, but the abs light came on for
about 20 minutes, then went out. Any ideas?
how to decode any GM radio15 Dec 2004 03:06 GMT1
This should probably be a sticky since it's hard to find info. My radio
locked out due to having to disconnect the battery. I called every dealer
and they were all being dicks, wanting $50 to get the code. So I kept
searching the Web and eventually found out how to decode any GM ...
GM Radio Reset14 Dec 2004 04:15 GMT1
Having dropped a replacement engine in my wife's Silhouette (yeah,

Unfortunately, the owner's manual the code was written down in is long
