I just changed a half shaft in my 1990 3.1 5 speed
Z24 and lost some transaxle fluid. The manual says
the right fluid is gm part #12345349 synchromesh
transaxle fluid. I can't find this at any parts store. Is

Is it true that the older the head, the thicker it is.  I'm on propane,
always cracking my heads.  Other trucks in the fleet were also on
propane, different years, different makes, different models, but never

the US site.  Is GM dumping the park ave? I've always wanted to buy a new

I just crushed one corner of my new plenum by using the torque
specification from my manual (11 lb-ft). Does anyone have the revised
spec (in TSB 77-61-18)?

I have an 88 z24 and I found out today that my trunk lock will not turn.
I have tried penetrating oil, wd40, and white lithium grease, but the
key will not turn. I can't get into the trunk to release it from the
inside. How should I go about this? Would coring it with a drill ...

I have have heard a lot about this issue lately and believe that
General Motors CAN and WILL turn itself around.
And I will use an example of how: Toyota.

The coolant color in my Impala is pink, not like those in cars I had before.
I noticed the coolant level seems never changed in the thin vertical coolant
tank. When engine is hot, I can't even see the level got any higher. I guess

operation temp, ONLY when making slow turns after driving.  For

2002 Tahoe 4x4, 5.3L PFI Vortec E-85 engine, 65K miles.  Ignition type :
coils mounted on the valve covers, one per cyl and a short wire to the plug
(not a coil pack).
