I got my 96 S10 apart finally that i posted about before. It was turning
over funny after it flat died, so i thought i had timing chain problems.
The front of the motor came apart OK until i go to the crank

Anyone use Regular gas 87oct in 3.8 supercharged17 Mar 2005 14:08 GMT4
With the gas prices so high I tried regular 87 octane . I don't hear any
ping and it seams to run fine.  Anyone else have the 3.8 supercharged motor
that has tried lower octane gas.

Can anyone suggest one or more good web based forums for automotive help
for GM cars in general, and possibly more specifically pontiac?  For a

Anyone know about ALL the inputs to GM radios?17 Mar 2005 05:16 GMT1
I have a 2004 Olds Silloette with the combination CD/Cassette Radio
unit in it. I believe they use the same unit in van?s equiped with
ONSTAR and when you use the phone, etc. the sound comes out the radio
speakers so my question is:
Trailblazer durability in cold weather. (Ian , others)17 Mar 2005 03:17 GMT1
Been thinking about a newer vehicle for the wife. She has a '94 SBlazer
now. We have looked at newer SBlazers but she doesn't like them much. So
we looked at a 2002 LS Trailblazer just because it was there. I will say
it does ride better in the rough than her 94. It has 28K on it ...

I have a 2002 park ave (no ultra) with 24K miles. I am noticing more
and more what appears to be tranny troubles. 1st, at times I notice a
slip or jerking feeling when I hit the gas during a turn or after
briefly taking my foot off the gas. It rarely does it but even my wife
Charging Battery - 2 AMP Trickle Charger??16 Mar 2005 22:56 GMT4
I'm charging the battery on my uncles car. Its been sitting since
December 30th. He died January 10th. Anyway, I couldn't find his battery
charger. The Sears Charger my dad had that we've used since the 50's has
a very bad case of the rubber on the power cord turning to dust when ...

The kids are getting bigger now and the wife wants a convert, so I get the
Van.
Removing lower pulley on 3800 V-616 Mar 2005 06:03 GMT4
'88 Pontiac  - GM 3800 Engine
Trying to get to the CPS to change it- I can't get the pulley in front of
the sensor mounting bolts off, even with a good 1/2" air wrench. I have
already broken one socket. The 1-1/8" bolt is rusted on tight. Tried soaking
No heat! Is there a fuse?16 Mar 2005 03:07 GMT5
Yesterday I tore open the radio compartment to take out a defective cd
changer.  Today my heater doesnt work. I get fan blower, but no heater.
Is there a fuse that handles the heater, or is there a power source that
runs the heater behind the radio?
90  haft shaft16 Mar 2005 01:57 GMT8
I have to change the left side haft shaft in my 1990 Z24 cavalier 3.1 5
speed. The outer cv joint is bad and it seems cheaper
to change to whole axle. The service manual shows two special
tools to do the job. One is the axle puller and the other is a
