chevy venture transmission fluid change06 Mar 2005 21:51 GMT2
I am getting ready to change the transmission fluid in my 1998 Venture.  The
owners manual say it holds 8 quarts for a pan and filter change.  If I
flush it by removing the return line from the radiator, how much more fluid
can I expect to add to this 8 quarts?  Is it wise to flush, ...

92 Lumina Euro06 Mar 2005 19:14 GMT2
I have one, with the 3.1L engine. 230K miles, engine and transmission have
around 150K.  It developed a problem, according to a mechanic, with a fuel
injector, that caused it to run on 5 cylinders instead of 6, and with a
heavy fuel smell in the air.  It seemed to me that it was ...

Both GM and Honda sales fell in Feb.  What was the response of each
company?
Honda: Our second best selling model, the civic, is an old design now
and no longer competitive, we will redesign it for next year.
99 suburban radio annoyance05 Mar 2005 19:37 GMT1
Hi, just bought a 99 suburban. Trouble is the radio always reverts back to a
pre-set eq setting after the truck is turned off and restarted. This happens
regardless of how I change the bass and treble settings or if I attempt to
turn the pre-set eq off. Every time the truck is ...

Getting rid of very old cars--nobody will take them? ('87 Chevy Celebrity, runs great)05 Mar 2005 00:26 GMT24
My folks in Livingston, NJ have an '87 Chevy Celebrity wagon with a
2.8 MFI and 116k miles.  The engine is terrific and even the A/C is
cold.  We're replacing it because it's gotten quite rusty.  Some of
the body panels are fine, while others have rust eating through the

How do you access the battery in a 2001 Lesabre? I know it is under the
back seat, but I can't figure out how to get at it.

Help! No brake lights05 Mar 2005 00:24 GMT4
Hi folks, I hope someone can help me noodle this out.  I have 1996 Buick
Regal 3.8 (I love this car!).  After one of my co-workers nearly tail-ended
me today, I was informed that I had no brake lights, though the high-mount
(rear window light) is still working.  I verified that the ...

Could fuel pumps cause an explosion??04 Mar 2005 03:39 GMT7
I just noticed that most of fuel pumps (and their energy wires) stays
inside the fuel tank cover with fuel.
My concern is: if by any reason (like overheat), one energy wire
became disconnected, you could have a positive wire touching the
Steering and Tranny seems off.04 Mar 2005 01:33 GMT2
Hi,  I am just wondering the tranny seems to rev high on my 2001
Cavalier 4 speed automatic, after driving for a while.  It will rev
around 4500 - 5000RPM when accelerating into a turn from a stopped
position (usually left is more noticable).  and sometimes when
