I have a high mileage (300k) 305 and I am in the process of replacing the timing chain. I have the cover off and indeed the old chain has some play in it. How important is it to replace the crankshft sprocket?

First, some background. The only timing chain experience I have is when I changed one on my old, beat up 73 Catalina with a 350. And I thought that was hard back in 1984! Looks like that's a walk in the park compared to this Beretta!!

I have a 99 Bravada and the radio locked up after I disconnected the battery to reset a code. I checked the radio and got 952 963 in that order and called and the code I received is 1174. Problem is, I can only enter 3 digits to unlock the radio 174 and 117 don’t unlock it.

I have heard that a one wire unhook is all it takes to disconnect the door chime on Chevy trucks... Does anyone here know which wire on the radio will do it?

My 89 GMC full size pickup's turn signal is blinking very fast for the right turn, but normal for the left turn. I changed all bulbs and the sockets were all relatively clean. Where should I look next? John

Not GM related but was wondering if anybody knew what a California Emissions Package adds to a vehicle? I saw a used 2003 Lincoln Town Car on a lot ( here in Illinois ) and noticed it said it had a CA Emissions Package on it.

I have just bought a used Buick Custom Century from a local Buick dealer. I believe it was recently used by Avis as a rental car. I live in Tampa, Florida, near TIA (Tampa International Airport). The car has an Avis sticker on the edge of the driver door.
