When the head lights are turned on, the left signal light in the das comes on and stays on steady. When the signal lights are used th light will then flash normally. Checked bulbs and changed flasher Any help as to were the short might be would be appriciated

The water pump bolts go into 2 blind holes and 2 water jackets. Doe anyone know if you have to drain the radiator when replaceing th bolts? This might need to be done for the sealant to properly cure? Or when you apply the thread sealant to the bolts, can they go int

The idle on this engine is high. My shop mechanic says it is the gasket between the tbi and air intake. I replaced it and see no difference. Any other ideas? tia

this is my first GMC (2004 Sierra p/u 4800 vortec) and I thought it abnormal when it couldn't warm up at idle. The dealer replaced the thermostat but it still doesn't warm up at idle. I've driven 5 miles to work and left it idling for over twenty minutes and the gauge reads 175 ...

this morning i was driving and as i was driving, the check engine light flicked on, then off almost imediately... then at the same time a light right above the gas guage flicked as well, so fast i couldnt tell what it was... I had more then 1/2 a tank of gas at the time.
