Free Service At Muffler Shop07 Apr 2005 06:40 GMT1
I just got some free weld put on an exhaust leak at the front pipe
coming off the exhaust manifold. I guess the 14 year old weld deicided
to rust off. 3 filth covered men had to come over to look at my odometer
when the car got lowered down again.
Using the Key Fob and settings07 Apr 2005 02:32 GMT5
I have a 2005 Yukon Xl. How do you set the car so when I use my KeyFob that
the seat goes in the position I set. I set the #1 for mine, when I leave the
car as per the DIC the seat goes all the way back. When I get back in the
truck the seat wont go back into position. If I press ...
ALIGNMENT ?? - 2003 Impala 3.4V607 Apr 2005 02:27 GMT10
I recently upgraded to H-rated tires of OEM size for my Impala and had
4whl alignment done as a package at a local Town Fair.
The improvement from S-rated to H-rated was noticeable, particularly in
steering response.  No more squeal in turns, and a firmer ride.
No Power06 Apr 2005 17:35 GMT3
Having some trouble with my '95 Monte 3.4L DOHC.
Major lack of power. At wide open throttle it doesn't have the power to get
the RPMs over 5,000 to hit the shift point, I have to let out the throttle
for it to shift. At highway cruising speed, anywhere between 80km/h and

for like half hour...are these pully's replaceable for ...
transmission06 Apr 2005 04:44 GMT1
I have a 1996 Buick Regal. The transmission goes into gear and you can feel
it wanting to pull, but it goes nowhere. I have checked the fluid and it is
fine, and also I have checked to see if the brakes froze up on it and they
are free. I jacked the car up and the transmission will ...

S10 2.2 update    ( Ian question)05 Apr 2005 21:08 GMT3
I posted earlier about my 96 S10 which quit running while going down the
hiway. I replaced the timing chain and it still did not run.
Got the head off. All the exhaust valves were bent. It was obvious
since they were partially open and not seated. No wonder there was
Coolant question should I change back to Prestone05 Apr 2005 20:54 GMT5
Hello, On my 98 Lumina 80,000 miles, I have the "usual" intake gasket leak.
My mechanic told me that some bad things happen to good people that use this
new coolant.  He suggested trashing the new orange coolant and replacing it
with the good old green Prestone after the leak is ...

Coal Liquefaction?05 Apr 2005 02:03 GMT14
With the escalating price of crude oil spiraling upward and the possibility
of 3 dollar a gallon gas prices does anyone know at what point the
liquefaction of Coal becomes competitive? I think processing the liquid
product would be similar to processing petroleum. The energy ...
Heater Blower Moter Problem04 Apr 2005 22:55 GMT1
I have a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. Last summer I changed the blower motor
heater/AC. As of yesterday it now only works on hi-speed only. I have
checked all the fuses they are OK.
Looking for help and a schematic if someone has one.
Flooding in car04 Apr 2005 16:36 GMT2
I have a 2004 Buick LeSabre, and lately I have noticed that after a rain,
there is a puddle on the floor near one of my back seats. The water doesn't
seem to be coming in via the door or through the windows, so I am puzzled.
Any ideas? Thanks

1993 Cavalier 2.2L Intermittent misfire04 Apr 2005 06:13 GMT2
Car runs fine then suddenly has no power under throttle. Engine will
sometimes idle roughly if left alone during this time and other times
stall. If clutch is depressed and full throttle is applied engine will rev
up but with no real power and with popping (like a backfire). ...
