Just dropped a used 3.4L engine into my 95 chev. lumina 4 dr sedan. Getting
service engine light now and then checking computer code getting    
p-1640code and haven't been able to fine this code in my book, anyone know
what this code means?

My 2001 Bonneville has a noticeable clunking feel in the steering,

This is the code I am getting on a 2000 Camaro SS with only 15,000 miles.
Seems to drive fine, I have only use premium fuel in it.
Should I just reset it or take it to the shop?  Is this harmful to my car?
If I take it in ... what should I tell them so they don't soak me ?

coil pack. I could have sworn that the coil is on the intake cover readilly
accessable. I called autozone to get a price for the coil pack and they told

The exterior looks nearly new, interor in very clean condition, car
only has 65K miles on it. They are asking $2500 OBO.  
  I searched the NHTSA site, and found that the windshield wipers

:cry:  My check engine light comes on in my 1998 chevy malibu ls when
I am driving it in the city and stopping a lot. It doesnt usually come
on when I am driving at 55 miles at a time. Does anyone know the

I just got an '86 Monte Carlo LS with a 305 and Quadrajet. Problem is when
giving it too much throttle (maybe last 1/3 of pedal travel) the engine
falls flat on it's face. Acts like it would if it were not getting enough

of smoke from the exhaust and it smells pig rich.

The can is an '86 Monte Carlo LS with a 305 and computer controlled
Quadrajet (TPS + MCS). The O2 sensor reads at idle -2000 RPM ~.04v - .07v. I
don't know if that is incorrect or not, but my feeling is that it should be
reading higher given the sensor has a range of 0v - 1v. If I ...
