Quality.18 May 2005 22:38 GMT56
Was going to cash in my 3% savings on a new GM auto, but with all the
recent recalls and poor quality control I have serious doubts on
buying a GM product.
I just don't believe GM makes a good quality auto anymore.

and the air conditioner.  I replaced the fuse and everything was fine
until I turned on the air and it blew.  I replaced it again and it

their signal lights are crap...

Loss of power steering on right turns18 May 2005 03:45 GMT13
My 97 Venture has developed intermittent sudden loss of power steering
on right turns at low speed. Steering is normal to the left.
When I look at the gear box from under the car, I notice that the dust
cap is missing and the bearing is exposed.  I don't know if this is
Anybody want a '75 Buick Shop Manual?18 May 2005 01:34 GMT1
I'm trying to sell vintage car shop manuals on eBay for our local
library - they keep all the money for their "Buy A Book" fund and I
ain't keeping anything!  Well, I've got this nice 1975 Buick manual with
nice pix and color schematics, and absolutely no one is interested!
Power Window Stopped Working18 May 2005 01:01 GMT6
I have a 2001 Chevy Tahoe. The front passenger power window stopped
working, with the window up (thank goodness). When I actuate either the
window switch at the passenger door or the driver door (the child safety
is off) I heard a click (a relay) and nothing else happens.

1992 Skylark transmission repair17 May 2005 07:02 GMT10
My wife has a '92 Buick Skylark.  It's transmission is on its last leg.  I'm
debating about replacing the tranny or replacing the car.  The car is in
excellent condition.  It has been driven by a little old lady (er...rather
my very young wife :->) back and forth to the local ...

Has anyone eperienced problems with DexCool coolant ? I have a 2004
Chev. P/U and was wondering if I should remove this product from my
cooling system. I talked to the dealership, they say they know of no
