So, my 1995 Monte has a new alternator. When the last one went, lights on
the dash started going nuts then the check engine light came on. After
replacing the alternator, check engine light stayed on. Cleared and checked
the codes. P1640 and P1650, QDM "A" and QDM "B" faults. Damnit ...

Hope someone can help, I am looking for the DRL module on a 1995 Geo Metro.
My headlights won't turn on when using the switch. All I have is the DRL
lights, no highbeam or regular lights unless using the flash to pass feature
then I get highbeams as long as you hold the lever ...

I'm considering replacing the lower intake manifold gasket my self.

Is there any thing unusual or tricky about this job?

I have a '99 4-door Blazer (4.3L) with just under 30K that seems to
have a squashy brake pedal.  I say "seems" because 1) I have nothing
to compare it to, and 2) The brakes still stop the vehicle reliably.

Have a 1995 Lumina van. The black rubber bumper looks very
sun-faded/grayish.  I can spray it with Armor-All, and it looks black
again, but only for a very short time. IS there some product that gets
it looking new again and lasts a good while?
