Can anyone explain to me the transmission in my '05 Impala? It's a base model with the 3400. Transmission just feels odd... there's four gear positions on the shifter but I feel four shifts up then if I'm on the highway and apply really light throttle it kind of slowly drops the

Here's an embarassing one: I recently worked on the A/C in my wife's '98 Lumina. In the course of the repair I ended up having to remove the air cleaner box to get access to the low-side port; and I also removed the caps on both a/c ports.

I have a venture 2002 that is only getting 22 gpm (should be 26gpm). My tire are in good shape and have enough air. What else can I check to improve mileage? I don't want to spend big bucks for replacing sensors. thanks

I have a 1990 LeSabre with 215K miles. The last two times I have changed the oil the first time I crank the car up to drive it off of the ramps the engine knocks like there is no oil but as soon as the oil pressure builds up there is no knocking. It only knocks for a second or two. ...

I have a 1996 Chevy Lumna sedan with 130.000 miles. The engine light is on and my scanner reades P0401. All othere checks are ok. The car runs fine. Some causes could be excessive backpressure. How do I check for that? Any way I can check the EGR valve incase that is
