Help: Intermittent Start Problem15 Jul 2005 15:46 GMT5
I have a strange problem with my 1998 Chevy Malibu. On two occassions (2
weeks apart), it has failed to start although the engine cranks.
The first time it eventually started after sitting for a few minutes. Then
it ran fine without any problems for two weeks. Last Thursday when I ...
2002 trailblazer exploding rear hatch15 Jul 2005 01:01 GMT4
The rear hatch glass on my Traiblazer exploded while sitting in the
driveway this afternoon. The glass shattered into a million pieces.
Thank God the neighbors kids weren't playing on the side of the house.
I was mowing the lawn on the other side of the house and heard the
Chevy supercharger/pontiac supercharger15 Jul 2005 00:49 GMT5
The supercharged 05 Chevy's (Monte Carlo, Impala) are rated at
240hp/280 lbs.  The pontiac supercharged engines (grand prix) is rated
at 260hp/280 lbs.  Is the engine, or the supercharger different, or is
it the exhaust that makes the difference?

For reasons unknown I stopped by a Pontiac dealer today. They have the
new 2006 2 door G6 GT V6 in stock along with some 05 four doors.
The new for 2006 GM Logo appears on both front doors just ahead of the
body side molding. Its a little chrome plate with the letters GM with a

2001 Buick Century with sunken seats13 Jul 2005 22:52 GMT9
I have a 2001 Buick Century with about 30,000 miles on it.  Overall, it has
been a good car but we find that the driver/passenger seats seem to have
sunk.  This is alarming as we are about 150 lbs each and drive the vehicle
very seldomly.

1996 Chevy Monte Carlo LS.... Throttle Positioning Sensor?13 Jul 2005 02:35 GMT1
My mom used to have a ’98 Pontiac Boneville  and around 80k it started
to do this jolt when you turned a certain direction while pressing on
the gas. I just bought a ’96 Monte Carlo, and it has done the same
thing twice since I’ve been in possesion of it. It took my mom almost

Is there some trick to getting exhaust donuts on I don't know about? I've

Painting front spoiler & trim12 Jul 2005 23:22 GMT2
My '88 Z-24 needs paint on the "ground effects" (front spoiler, side
trim, etc.)
Is there a special paint for that stuff--I'm assuming it's made out of
some kind of plastic or rubber--or can I just use a rattle can of
Intermittent hesitation when cold - 1995 Olds 88 3.8L12 Jul 2005 15:43 GMT14
The service techs who work on my car are pulling their hair out over the
problem - a very intermittent hesitation when the car is first driven.
The car is a 1995 Olds 88 with the 3.8L engine with just over 75,000 miles
on it.  A couple of months ago it developed an occasional ...
Chevy Cobalt sedan12 Jul 2005 06:21 GMT5
Any of you guys purchased a Cobalt sedan? If so, how would rate the initial
build quality? Overall, are you pleased with your vehicle thus far?
The Cobalt sedan appears to compete with the Honda Civic sedan series. I'm
wondering how it will stack up against the already established ...
