'88 Z-24 2.8 multiport has a steady miss at idle, but it seems to go
away as soon as it throttles up above idle speed.
I suspected a coil pack and changed it but that didn't change the way it
runs.

I just finished watching a show about
the old steam engined cars.

I replaced a right front wheel hub/bearing assembly that was making noise
and now the Anti-Lock light stays on.  I thought maybe I got a bad
hub/bearing assembly so I replaced it again with another new one.  Anti-Lock
light still stays on.  Does this light have to be reset ...

Anyone know if the factory alarm on a 05 monte carlo will go off if
someone breaks a window?  The manual doesn't really say.

I just bought a power inverter from a friend of mine as he doesn't need it
anymore.  Its for use in the car, ie. those thing that gives you 120V from
the cigaret lighter plug.  Anyway the model is rated at 400Watts puting out
2.6Amps on the label.

The car starts fine then when put into gear and let off the clutch
then press the gas, it always wants to die and when in neutral it
wants to die when you push the gas but idles at about 2500-3000. I’ve
only replaced the MAP and O2 snesor and is running a bit better but

Need to buy new van for work, want 06 model and GMC site does not have it up
for 06 just 05.
Is there a site that shows what the dealer pays for the van.
I know from the last purchase Chevy was doing a promo for bins and ladder

I have a geo that spray tranny fluid every time you put it in gear. Not the
lines check that. Coming from front of tranny. Front seal? Breather?
With these cars and front wheel drive do I have to take the whole motor
out to fix? Never worked on compact front wheel drive before.

My check engine light keeps coming (P0440) on after the code is reset.
tried everything from changing the gas cap and checking connections.
was told the wire going to the catalic coverter can set it off to.
checked it and it is secure. What should my next step be

I was thinking of buying a new Chevy Colorado with the Vortec 3500 I-5
engine.  I would like to hear from anyone with good or bad experiences with
the I-5 engine.  Thank you in advance for any input.

My PT Cruiser seems to start and then dies immediately.  Tried
flooding maneovers, but that didn't work.
Did not smell any fuel, btw.  [mileage is about 21,000]

My wifes 2000 LeSabre (3.8 v6) has a wierdly intermittent misfire.
Sometimes it has miisfired like crazy for 5 minutes when started, then
wont misfire again for a week. Sometimes it has not misfired in 2
weeks then will misfire slightly whist cruising up a slight incline on

I declined the dealer offer of a 5yr 100k mile extended warrenty,
first the $ was 2900 then at the end it was 1600 with a $100
deductable and I still declined . I may have made a mistake ???  time
will tell
