but because of speculation of what the industry thought might happen do to
world events. These events never happened yet prices never went down. Now do

The other day, as I was doing a routine oil check on my son's 94 Grand
Am, 3.1 V6 (which was recently featured here for a different problem), I
found that the oil was way over the max mark -- probably about a quart
over. And that it was no longer just oil -- it was a reddish ...

About 3 months ago, sitting at a light, the Service Engine Soon light
came on and the misfires started.

My sons 92 cavalier has rough idle and sometimes dies once operating temp
is achieved. Fuel is flowing out of the vapor cannister vent port when
this happens. Any suggestions?

I have a  monte carlo ss with the SC 3.8
It requires premium fuel, 91 minimum.  Next weekend I will be near a
station that sells 100, and 105 octane fuel.  Would a tank of 100 or
105 be good for the car, or cause me problems?  If RITA causes fuel to

I have 1995 Monte Carlo with dash light burned out for high beam, anyone
know how to change with out taking out dash or will it be easier to take
to Chev. Dealer and pay that high price for a bulb??

Intermittent 'chugging'.  Usually the car is fine for about 2-5 minutes
after a cold start, then starts chugging for the rest of the drive.

the supercharger is shot. I was told i could bypass the charger by putting
on a belt for the same car by using a belt that is for one without the
supercharger. Is this possible to do without doing further damage to the
car?

My 1995 Monte Carlo has been having problems shifting from park once
the brake is applied.  The button on the T-handle refuses to depress
(shifter is console mounted).  This only occurs sporadically - one day
it's smooth as silk, the next you fiddle with it for a moment before it
