I have a ProStart replacement alternator for some recent GM SUV type
vehicle.  I was told it was a one wire unit, but it has a four pin plug in
addition to the output terminal.
Is the plug just for indicators or lights, or does this unit actually need

Good evening,
2000 Impala intermittently running rough. When you hit the pedal to the
floor, it may miss, surge, no backfiring. Stopped at a red light may shudder
and engine stall. This is intermittent. Not predictable.

my 1993 gm van's air conditioner works but will not blow out of the vents.
it blows from the defroster and small vents in the console. I have been
told it could be a vaccum leak, where do I look for vaccum leaks. does not
matter if I change controls from defrost to heat or to air ...

It seems like there must be a fuse on this, but I don't see one
mentioned on any of the fuse covers or in the manual.

I have a 98 Buick Century that I need to replace the tranny. The number
on the tranny tag is a 618AHW. The number on the tranny I want to use
is a 619AHW out of a 99 Chevy lumina. Salvage yard cross reference says
these are interchangable.  One gm dealer told me these are the same

My Heated seat on the Drivers side just stopped working. The switch
goes on HI but will not go off or to LO. I took the Pass. control box
out and switched it and it still does not work. I will take the door
panels apart next and switch out the switches and try that.I did notice

Hey I just replaced the starter on my river and it starts but when I tried
to drive the car I switch it from park to drive and when I push on the gas
pedal it dosen't move just sits there and revs up is there something I did

OK.. 97 Blazer, 4.3, 2dr, 2wd, auto. 127k miles.
Following symptoms: Hard starting - must crank for 4-6 seconds, wait,
