My '01 Impala base just got the front stabilizer bar bushings replaced as it made noise when going over bumps. The new parts cheap, but 1.5hr labor. Don't know what's coming next with this GM crap. The car only has 45K miles on it. To my knowledge, the bushing shouldn't go

When the engine is started there is a hard ticking sound emitted from under the dash that sounds like a vent door moving. Before I dive into the dashboard I would like more info. Any help will be appreciated. 4.2L inline 6 cylinder – 55,000 miles.

1987 Buick Century w/3.8L engine. Has new timing chain, new crank sensor. Engine runs good, but when it is put in gear it has no power. What might the trouble be?

I have a tiny pinprick hole in my metal tubular power steering hose. Is there a simple way to plug this hole? Is there a special glue or sealant I can use? To replace the hose looks like a very difficult task. I want an easy and cheap way to fix it.

1) Is the 3.5 used in Impala, G6, vans, etc. derived from the 2.8/3.1/3.4? If not, is it an all-new design or is it from somewhere other than North America? 2) Is the new 3.9 a bored and/or stroked 3.8, an enlarged 3.5, or what?

OK, removed the intermediate steering shaft on my 2001 Bonneville and put in the lube kit to stop the stick/slip clunking noise. 1 year later, the same noise is back only worse. My question is; has there been anything done to remedy this problem except
