I have a 05 Colorado. Dealer told me that when I engage the starter the noise I hear Is normal. The noise is like the starter is not connecting with the flywheel. It's the sound of when one would engage the starter when the motor is running. Dealer

I have recently found myself with an alternator that is completely dead. I changed the battery, nothing. When the door is open it will give a weak "ting ting" noise, but even the power locks on the door won't work.

Ian, I know the new models were coming with "sealed" transmissions, and my sister's G6 has one. When doing the delivery walk-through, my salesman pointed out the transmission dipstick on my car. It's an '06 Grand Prix with the base engine. Was this transmission model included

I have a 2001 Suburban. The battery will go dead overnight. I found a cycling drain on the RAP#2 fuse. Every 20seconds there will be a 7-8 Amp current drain on that circuit.(with key off) The Onstar and keyless entry system is on that circuit. Someone on another

My brother in law now has what used to be my 1995 Pontiac Grand Am SE with the Quad Four. The car is loosing massive amounts of coolant to an external leak. This all started very suddenly. Ok, now where it's coming out.....

In the last 2 years my 96 GMC minivan has distroyed 5 alternators. My former local mechanic and dealer tell me they can find nothing wrong.Would someone please give me something to try to fix this problem before it drive me nuts!
