At the perfect time of year, my 99 Regal LS started something naughty this morning. It was around 50 degrees this morning and I set it at auto for 73 degrees. After about 5 minutes I noticed it wasn't getting warmer. I noticed it was set for 3 ticks out of 6 to the Floor so I ...

'94 Park Avenue - Who sells touch-up paint for Adriatic Blue code 173A? Neither Dupli-color or Plasti-cote sells aerosol touch up paint, and the only place I have found so far wants $15 for a few ounces, and another $15 to put it in an aerosol can.

On our 95 Park Ave the Battery Warning Light (beside the voltage gauge) sometimes comes on and stays on for a while after start up. This is a fairly recent development (during the last year) and is happening more often and staying on longer. This morning I put a DVM on the cigar ...

| Need advice on valve cover replacement | 03 Nov 2005 13:20 GMT | 7 |
This is sort of a followup to a previous post, but I'm going to attempt a valve cover replacement on a GMC 2.8L V6 engine (1985) and need some technical advice. The reason for this replacement is due to a very persistent oil leak that is thought to be due to warped OE valve covers. ...

| What is Wrong With Giving Cadillacs Names Instead of Three Letter No-Names? | 03 Nov 2005 06:37 GMT | 5 |
I really am stumped by the way marketing people run around like lemings doing what the other guy is doing. Cadillac has a long history of exotic sounding names for it's cars, yet is killing off the names one by one for three letter no-names. Sedan deVille has a rich history, ...

I recently installed a 1989 350 cu Chev TBI engine in the engine bay of a 1990 GMC 1500 pickup (Z71). Previously there was a 305 cu engine in the truck. After buttoning everything up, the damn thing would not start. Got spark and I'm confident the timing is correct. Could it be the ...
