I had a '98 Grand Prix 3800 (190,000kms) come to me today with a torn up tensioner pulley. Looks like the bearing seized, heated up, melted the plastic pulley. Replacement is a steel pulley with the same bearing. This is the first tensioner pulley I've seen torn up. How common is ...

Last summer I had a check engine light which was caused by a leaking gas cap. To help seal it I put vasoline on the gasket. Now, during cold weather I have trouble getting the cap off. After cleaning the gasket, what can I put on it to help seal it without causing the removal

I have a 19998 chevy blazer that wont start when its cold. If I wait a few hours until the sun comes up it starts with no problems. I live in Las Veagas so the average temp in the morning is about 36 not too exstreme, In input would be greatly appreciated

I thought that maybe the battery was bad so I bought a new one..replaced the old one and still no go..so I took the backup keyfob and the only thing that works is the 'panic' button on the keyfob (the red button). Dont know if its the truck's alarm or the keyfob.

My 2001 Buick Century seems to use a small amount of coolent. The overflow tank was about a quart low today. I changer the coolent at 75000 miles (87000 now). Does the 3.1 engine have a history of this problem. There are no leaks that I can see and have not seen

It made sense. Buick was a road car, so they called it a Roadmaster. Perfect name. Chevrolet was a low priced entry level car. So make a Business Coupe. Pontiac was the next step up. Name it the Chieftain.
