1999 Yukon getting HOT and blowing cold air at low rpm28 Feb 2006 22:29 GMT1
I have two cars- Yukon and Mitsubishi.  The Mitsu began blowing cold
at low rpms.  No heat until the rpms pick up.  Within two weeks, my
Yukon is doing the same thing.  Both are running hotter than usual,
esp. the Yukon.  Both cars problem free for years.  All of the

4.3L noise28 Feb 2006 15:10 GMT2
OK i'm at my wits end on this one.
I have a 1995 chevrolet G20 van. It's equiped with a 4.3L TBI V-6. I
have a knock in the engine that shows up after its warmed up. If i were
to describe it, it sounds just like a lifter. I have replaced the
1994 Saturn Window Motor28 Feb 2006 13:57 GMT3
Anyone know how to access the window motor to a 1994 Saturn for replacement.
The maintance manual I have is very unclear and it looks like the door has
to be removed and then disassembled.  Is this correct?
'64 GTO 4 speed28 Feb 2006 12:57 GMT3
A friend recently purchased a '64 GTO 4 speed car without the engine
or transmission.  He would like to locate a 389 4 bbl. with 4-speed
transmission for this car, preferably with serial numbers roughly
corresponding with the manufacture date of the car.

97 Lumina - driving with leaking intake manifold?28 Feb 2006 02:35 GMT5
I am thinking about buying a used 97 Chevy Lumina LS...in fact I would
have already, had the mechanic not told me that the car has a leaking
intake manifold (a common problem with these engines as I have found
out looking on the web). She said that this might eventually cause
Turn signal problem on '02 Grand Am27 Feb 2006 23:09 GMT3
Our '02 Grand Am has recently developed the following problem:
After making a turn, the turn signal shuts off, but goes into a fast
clicking mode. The exterior turn signal lights are turned off and turn
signal arrows on the instrument panel are off, but the clicking sound stays
'80s Chevy Celebrity Wagons: Did They Come with Manual Transmission?27 Feb 2006 22:57 GMT17
Hi there :) I'm a big fan of cars with lots of room for people and
cargo, and the Chevy Celebrity is definitely one of these cars.  I am
wondering, however, if the wagons ever came with a manual transmission?
I prefer to shift my own gears, and it would be fantastic if I could
convertible top problem27 Feb 2006 21:31 GMT4
I just finished a 3 year restoration on a 1963 Impala Convertible and on the
first trip out I rolled down my window and the vinyl top rattles big time
with top frame.  I believe I stretched it enough (this was a bitch of a
job).  It was so loud the sound was almost deafening.  ...
91 park ave break thingy27 Feb 2006 19:34 GMT2
I'm just wondering what the break line block/thingy does. The master
break cylinder lines go to it and then this block forks out 4 lines, 1
to each break/wheel cylinder. What's this thing called?
A Torrent of criticism for Pontiac's new SUV (USA Today Review)27 Feb 2006 16:05 GMT20
GM engineering strikes again.  These are the folks that will lift GM out of
the quagmire of stupidity and poor engineering decisions?  Heaven help GM
because they sure are *not* helping themselves.  GM would do much better to
hire Scott Adams who will have Saint Dogbert wave his ...
Fiero shift cables27 Feb 2006 04:07 GMT3
I am trying to help my bro fix a 87 fiero GT.
The shift cables are shot. There are some on
ebay now. My question is, are the GT shift cables
the same as the straight 2m6 cables?
OBD II P0102 - Replaced MAF, But Chk Eng Still On26 Feb 2006 20:32 GMT6
I could use a bit of advice.  I have a 99 Pontiac Grand Prix with 38000
Supercharged engine.  The check engine light came on with code P0102
MAF Circuit Low Input.  I bench tested the MAF sensor.  It varied the
output voltage signal, but not by much.  I purchased a new MAF sensor
