I got my brake pads and rotors renewed at a GM dealer, 20k miles ago.

Help ID unknown new car with huge chrome "X" grill22 Feb 2006 04:08 GMT1
A few days ago I got a fleeting glimpse of what looked to be a brand
new car with the largest chrome grill I have seen on a vehicle since
the old Rolls Royces.  The grill had to be at least two feet tall and
had vertical chrome with a huge X(each leg of the X was about 3 inches

ball joint stud / knuckle re-assembly problem21 Feb 2006 13:02 GMT7
I just replaced the passenger-side half shaft in my '93 Park Avenue
Ultra.  That really wasn't too terrible of a job.  The problem is
getting everything put back together.  Try as I might (and I have spent
a good deal of time trying), I have not been able to get the knuckle
Why would anyone buy a car with a Northstar engine?21 Feb 2006 09:46 GMT13
Hi group:
This is a rhetorical question for me because just this past summer, I
bought a 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora and it contains what some call a "baby"
Northstar engine.

My owners manual recommends dexcool. I would rather use regular
antifreeze and change it more often. Do I have to use this stuff?

Concept Camaro20 Feb 2006 18:43 GMT9
I was invited to the Toronto International Car Show last night for
V.I.P. night and got an early preview of the Camaro up close and
personal. It blew me away. It was just retro enough to remind me of the
early muscle versions, but there's really nothing retro about the drive

91 Grand Am SE Quad 4 woes19 Feb 2006 17:30 GMT1
I purchased a 1991 Pontiac Grand Am SE with 133K mi.  A very nice
little car.  The engine will not turn over by using any means.  I have
